It's my birthday week, so to celebrate I thought a giveaway was definitely in order. This giveaway is for $80 toward any Redbud service. Feel free to keep all of it for yourself, give it all to a friend, or split it between you and a friend or two. Take a look at our products page HERE and see what you might want to spend it on if you're the lucky winner.

To enter, simply leave a comment telling me what one of your favorite birthday presents has been.

If you'd like to be entered more than once, feel free to do any of the following and leave SEPARATE comments for each:

  1. I don't know if this counts as a present but it definitely was a gift to me! My birthday happens to fall in the middle of summer, July 18th. The past two summers I've worked at a summer camp, so my gifts tend to be a little out of the box. Like for example the men's staff (its an all girls camp...so xy chromosomes are limited) sing to you on your birthday in the dining hall. As wonderful as that is my best birthday gift was a food fight! My birthday happened to fall on a sunday...the day counselors serve dinner. As we were coming to the end, I don't know how it got started but one thing led to the other and the food started flying. I have never laughed that hard in my whole life. Best birthday present ever!

  2. I really, really love my birthday and it seems like most years I get what I ask for ... however, I'm frugally minded so I don't usually get too extravagant. Three years ago my parents and my sweets surprised me with a new sewing machine ... love, love, love. And last year my sweets surprised me with an HP Mini. Which I also love. Perfect for catching up on blogs in bed and watching Hulu while I sew ;).

  10. I wasn't going to enter... I was drooling with envy over this (knowing that you just did Life With The Crazies' blog), but I figured I wouldn't get picked.

    Then you asked THAT question, and I was all, "pick me! pick me!" (even though I know that doesn't count in random drawings.

    Because my favorite birthday gift ever? My little miracle baby! Made his early appearance on the day before my birthday - I spent my birthday in the hospital, having just found out that his kidney disease was most likely non-fatal.

    Relief, elation, joy, celebration - oh yeah - that was the best birthday ever! :)

    Oh, and your other question? I've been wanting a complete blog makeover in like forever! I mean, I'm actually embarrassed if you go look at my sparse blog with the wonky header and mis-spaced pictures, LOL!

  21. a couple of years ago my husband gave me a trip to the spa with a full body massage, manicure, pedicure and hair cut and style. Then he took me out to dinner. Great birthday!

  53. One of my favorite birthday presents was a watch given to me by my grandfather when I turned 13. My grandfather wasn't known for picking out gifts, he usually gave us money to use as we chose, but the fact that he picked out a special present for me on a special birthday meant so much to me. :)

  64. AHH this has just made my DAY! I'm so excited about there being a giveaway, I can't imagine how thrilled I would be if I won! I would have to say my favorite birthday present was given to me when I was 13. My Granny Linda gave me my first piece of sterling silver jewelry - a ring with my initials engraved. I have worn it everyday since. It is all scratched now and you can barely see the initials, but it means the world to me! :)

  67. My best friend threw me a Pirate Bowling birthday party and asked everyone to bring me daisies. My whole apartment was covered in daisies for the next few weeks. It was such a sweet reminder everyday that no matter what happens, I knew I was loved and that can get you through a lot.

My most favorite birthday present would have to be the vintage Sears & Roebuck bicycle that my now husband refurbished for me - white-walled tires, wicker basket on the front, and Italian-style hand bell.   108. the little things are what i love the most! i make jewelry (that is my business) and i think my daughter is starting to like what i do and may want to do it when she is bigger (that is a gift there) But she ran up to her room one day and got into her craft bucket and made me a MOM bracelet with her little plastic beads and string. I have not took it off since she gave it to me! the little things are the best gifts ever!

  110. I'm sure someone already said something similar but I'd have to say having Avelyn in 2008. Sure it was three days after my birthday, but I spent my actual birthday in class followed by having my cervix checked at the OB. Not a good gift. Kevin was living in a different city at the time and I had no real friends so I spent my actual birthday buying myself a Jamba Juice (not even the big one because I was broke!) and going home to rest. So when she was born 3 days later I took that as my most awesome present ever. :)

We had only known each other for a month, but he gave me a sweet cross ring from James Avery. I still wear it on my right hand to this day, & it continually reminds me what our relationship is built on.... Christ. Love it!
